five ebay finds

My wallet and my wardrobe are crying, but here are 5 ebay buys that I made this week. All except for the hat (which I've received, it's absolutely lovely) was under a tenner, sweet stuff!

I think I'm going to calm down with the shopping for a bit. I need to save up for boring stuff like upcoming bills and veterinary visits. Boo!

the flora and studded collars

Another thing that arrived in the mail today, was this shirt.

It was an impulse buy from a chinese online clothing store called ahaishopping. They have free shipping, which is always a plus for a rabid internet shopper like me. Also, they currently sell off some pieces for only $9.99, and I'd been drooling over some of their knits for a while. But then I saw this, and it was love at first sight. The US dollar is insanely low for us swedes right now, so this fabulously designed piece was a real treat to find.

Hey Micky!

I found these amazing shoes on sale for £12 over at Lazy oaf! I love them!

I suspect they most probably won't fit me, but I had to take my chances. I love their entire range (especially the Batman stuff, hah!), bit pricey but still, I'm all for individual brands so I approve.

style courage

Thinking about buying something I've been curious about for some years now. Wearing turbans, that is. I've always found it to be a creative and daring accessory to wear, although it being quite outdated (since the 40s?), I haven't had the guts to wear it. I've been seeing it around the net now, so I hope it's on the up. Maybe I'll pucker up my courage and wear it in the only-black-stylistically-pure clothing ways of Sweden.

Another package arrived today. I've promised myself NOT to buy any more Vivienne Westwood x Melissa shoes, seeing how I already own three pairs. But when I saw these beauties on the swedish version of Craigslist, Blocket, for a crazy cheap price, I directly emailed the seller and said I wanted them. Luckily enough, people in Sweden doesn't really know who Vivienne is, so it is quite possible to discover finds like this here. I paid about €25 for them.

Plus, I've been wanting these for a good two-three years, and I can attest to Melissa shoes being the best rain shoes ever. Living in Göteborg, Sweden, we do get our good share of rain.

December finds

A bunch of packages arrived today! As it is with online purchases, sometimes it fits, sometimes it doesn't. For a girl who has lived her life measurement-free (except for a brief period in Japan), guessing inches can get a bit tricky.

These two fit perfectly. I can really recommend this Ebay seller, from which I bought the yellow dress, as they have lots of different sizes on their dresses, as well as lovely designs.

This silky think, however, I had a bit of trouble with in the bust-area. It's a relatively new problem for me since I gained weight, so it doesn't make me too sad, haha.

Last but not least, is this lacey-sparkle-coatstravaganza. It's the typical sort of crazy clothing I feel at ease in. Unfortunately, even this is a bit tight in the bust-area, so if I want to wear it, I'll have to wear it open.

All in all pretty neat finds, eh?

cure it with beautiful things

I've been going on a shopping spree lately, a method I'm trying in order to help with my anxiety. I don't think it's working very well, though, because I'm smitten with all kinds of bacteria (mostly located around my face, of course), and thus I can't go out and wear my fancy new pieces. Also, my wallet is getting kind of empty, and it's the beginning of  the month. D'oh.

But I bought this strange thing, after eyeing it for a month:

sailorette

This is the one and only thing I'm absolutely craving at the moment. I want to be a sailor! I just might have to buy it for our trip to Barcelona in March. Some white knee-high socks, red lipstick and long, curly hair... I'd be ready for that sea!
