I'm stuck in a sea of essays that need to be written hence my absence. I've also been busy playing in the snow and doing yoga, but I'll be back soon!
Meanwhile, have some of this:

rascal
I found him. It was a mere chance that I even noticed him, but there he was. A wrong search was all it took, and now I'm in love. I can't get him off my mind. He is the bunny for me.
He lives on the other side of the country, so right now I'm on a crusade to convince D to take me to him. He wants me to do an allergy test for bunnies, which is like a death sentance to me. ALL doctors everywhere say the same thing.
"I'm only allergic to cats, and I'd like to..."
"Don't get pets if you're allergic."
"But I even lived with two cats for a year, so it should be fi-"
"No. Don't get pets if you're allergic."
"HE IS THE BUNNY FOR ME."
"But you're allergic?"

meow
These are probably the best thing I've bought in a while though, yellow shirts aside; five small cat faces in box form. You can find these silly little things here! I plan on using them for erasers, hair pins, pens, treasures and other things.
yellow
I love yellow. It is one of my absolute favourite colours. I worship yellow and black combos.
For some reason I don't own a lot of yellow stuff though, something which I'm now set on changing (I bought that yellow blouse a while ago, remember?). I won this on good old Ebay for £0.99 just now, its cute and happy, no? Other than that I'm very obsessed with everything nautical and sailor-y right now. I want anchors, navy and golden buttons! And rockabilly hair and red shoes! I think all this is just a massive indicator on how much I'm longing for the sun and some warmth, it's incredibly cold in London right now.

half of sale price
Found a bra, panties, pajama pants, dish cloths and a plastic cover for my microwave (so I don't have to clean it all the time...) on sale yesterday. It was half of the sale price at Åhléns, so I bought all of this for a mere €15.

sole mate
I absolutely love shoes. Even though I have more shoes than one woman would ever need (50+), I'm always on the look-out for new, cute ones. Over the years I've come to realise that a good heel is what will make me wear that particular shoe over and over again. So, I've become somewhat of a shoe expert at comfortable heels.
Okay, so this heel is rather tame, but in my defense, I haven't worn high-heeled shoes for about two years. I'm slowly re-learning how to wobble down cobble streets here in Gothenburg, so I tend to like smart heels like the one on this shoe.
Everyone, meet "Carlee". She is from Sole Society, my go-to drool site of wonderful shoes. Unfortunately I'm not a US citizen, so I can't buy them. But in my daydreams I see myself skipping down the street in these Dorothy-esque shoes. Ah.

hatgasm
So...
I just bought yet another hat and I have no idea if this kind of hat will fit me but I simply had to buy it. I mean, look at it:
It's made out of pure, quintessential win.
You can find it here, if you want to be a crazy hat wearer like me. I also realised I should provide some kind of pictures of me wearing all of these things at some point.
daily wish list
I'm craving these two things from urbanoutfitters.com right now. Mostly the Constellation Globe, because I've been in love with constellations ever since I listened to an old radio program about greek mythology as a kid.
pour H&M
Today this lovely Anna Dello Russo bracelet arrived in the mail. It's from her collaboration of accessories with H&M, which I, to say the least, LOVED. I'm all about statement jewellery, and have been since the day I discovered Vivienne Westwood. I love gold and squiggly things, but most of all, I love (modest) kitsch.
It's freakin' huge and heavy though, so it feels like you're wearing shackles or something. But I don't mind.
Another thing that arrived was this bustier + panties from the Sonia Rykiel collection from H&M.
But of course my bust-problem reappeared, and it doesn't fit me at all. I'm thinking about setting up an Etsy shop or something, where I can sell vintage clothing that doesn't fit me. Hm. Maybe.

men and cats
One of the many fascinations for things that I've maintained for a very long time is photos of famous men and cats (for some reason, I very rarely see photos of women and cats, why is that?). I once had a huge folder with lots of photos but it is since long lost. There are still a lot of undiscovered treasures out there though, like this one:
(they allow cats on Enterprise now)
Maybe I'll start collecting these photos again. I think I might even have a few uploaded on Facebook, aha!

mon petit pois
I don't really have a lot of nicknames these days. This is pretty much the only consistent one right now:
Except, because we're oh so cultivated, we say it in french. Oui, oui, according to my partner I am a 'petit pois'. A tiny pea. A sweet pea, hopefully.
Thing is, I don't really like peas, ahem.

five ebay finds
My wallet and my wardrobe are crying, but here are 5 ebay buys that I made this week. All except for the hat (which I've received, it's absolutely lovely) was under a tenner, sweet stuff!
I think I'm going to calm down with the shopping for a bit. I need to save up for boring stuff like upcoming bills and veterinary visits. Boo!
the flora and studded collars
Another thing that arrived in the mail today, was this shirt.
It was an impulse buy from a chinese online clothing store called ahaishopping. They have free shipping, which is always a plus for a rabid internet shopper like me. Also, they currently sell off some pieces for only $9.99, and I'd been drooling over some of their knits for a while. But then I saw this, and it was love at first sight. The US dollar is insanely low for us swedes right now, so this fabulously designed piece was a real treat to find.

Hey Micky!
I found these amazing shoes on sale for £12 over at Lazy oaf! I love them!
I suspect they most probably won't fit me, but I had to take my chances. I love their entire range (especially the Batman stuff, hah!), bit pricey but still, I'm all for individual brands so I approve.

style courage
Thinking about buying something I've been curious about for some years now. Wearing turbans, that is. I've always found it to be a creative and daring accessory to wear, although it being quite outdated (since the 40s?), I haven't had the guts to wear it. I've been seeing it around the net now, so I hope it's on the up. Maybe I'll pucker up my courage and wear it in the only-black-stylistically-pure clothing ways of Sweden.
€€€
Another package arrived today. I've promised myself NOT to buy any more Vivienne Westwood x Melissa shoes, seeing how I already own three pairs. But when I saw these beauties on the swedish version of Craigslist, Blocket, for a crazy cheap price, I directly emailed the seller and said I wanted them. Luckily enough, people in Sweden doesn't really know who Vivienne is, so it is quite possible to discover finds like this here. I paid about €25 for them.
Plus, I've been wanting these for a good two-three years, and I can attest to Melissa shoes being the best rain shoes ever. Living in Göteborg, Sweden, we do get our good share of rain.

December finds
A bunch of packages arrived today! As it is with online purchases, sometimes it fits, sometimes it doesn't. For a girl who has lived her life measurement-free (except for a brief period in Japan), guessing inches can get a bit tricky.
These two fit perfectly. I can really recommend this Ebay seller, from which I bought the yellow dress, as they have lots of different sizes on their dresses, as well as lovely designs.
This silky think, however, I had a bit of trouble with in the bust-area. It's a relatively new problem for me since I gained weight, so it doesn't make me too sad, haha.
Last but not least, is this lacey-sparkle-coatstravaganza. It's the typical sort of crazy clothing I feel at ease in. Unfortunately, even this is a bit tight in the bust-area, so if I want to wear it, I'll have to wear it open.
All in all pretty neat finds, eh?

cure it with beautiful things
I've been going on a shopping spree lately, a method I'm trying in order to help with my anxiety. I don't think it's working very well, though, because I'm smitten with all kinds of bacteria (mostly located around my face, of course), and thus I can't go out and wear my fancy new pieces. Also, my wallet is getting kind of empty, and it's the beginning of the month. D'oh.
But I bought this strange thing, after eyeing it for a month:

sailorette
This is the one and only thing I'm absolutely craving at the moment. I want to be a sailor! I just might have to buy it for our trip to Barcelona in March. Some white knee-high socks, red lipstick and long, curly hair... I'd be ready for that sea!
